The swimming pool is heated from May 1st – 31st & October 1st – 31st using renewable energy sources, specifically heat pumps.

Chlorination of water is done with salt, a simple process that is very similar to that of the marine ecosystem. The pool water is lightly salted at 4g/L which corresponds to nine times less than seawater. Through electrolysis in the special chamber, the salt is converted into chlorine gas which is a powerful disinfectant that immediately disperses the water. Thus, the active chlorine produced destroys all microorganisms and ensures the correct level of free chlorine in the pool.
