Stoupa is a beautiful coastal village of Messinian Mani, located 45 km east of the city of Kalamata.
The Stupa is based at the foot of Taygetos, in an area overgrown with olive groves, and behind two sandy coves. It is today the most developed tourist village of the entire prefecture of Messinia.
Stoupa very quickly developed into a famous seaside tourist resort. In the summer months, the Stoupa area is full of people and life. The first inhabitants of Stoupa came from Lefktro, a small village located very close by.
It is an experience worth living every moment of every traveler’s life.
The scenery you will encounter on your way to the Stupa will absolutely impress you! At the beginning you will encounter the view of Kalamata from above, followed by the green side of the mountain and the sea of the Messinian Gulf.
Stoupa is 44 km from Kalamata. while if you come from Laconia and Gythio, the distances are 63 km and 57 km respectively.
