The operation of all accommodations is based exclusively on green energy,
so as to leave a minimal energy footprint on the environment. Our plants are watered with treated water through the property’s biological cleaning facility.
The pool is heated in the month of May and from September 15 to the end of October using renewable energy sources, specifically heat pumps.
Chlorination of water is done with salt, a simple process that is very similar to that of the marine ecosystem. The pool water is lightly salted at 4g/L which corresponds to nine times less than seawater. Through electrolysis in the special chamber, the salt is converted into chlorine gas which is a powerful disinfectant that immediately disperses the water. Thus, the active chlorine produced destroys all microorganisms and ensures the correct level of free chlorine in the pool.
The paint that has been used on the walls of the entire accommodation is natural wall paint certified as environmentally friendly and colored natural earths. Contains only raw materials of strictly natural origin. It provides natural ventilation that dissolves indoor air pollutants, it is natural bacteriostatic and fungistatic, respecting the environment and the health of users. Its raw material is natural hydraulic lime.
Equally important is the air we breathe. In our complex, a ventilation system with heat recovery has been installed in all rooms, in order to offer a healthy atmosphere and energy savings, since energy losses due to ventilation of the premises are almost zero.
